Visualize Expo is for professionals working in visual communication who are looking for the latest developments in printing technologies, signage and promotional solutions. This includes visitors from the graphic media industry, advertising, marketing and media sectors, and the creative industries.

The event is for everyone working on visibility, brand experience and communication: from print specialists and signmakers to marketers, brand managers, creatives and project managers. Visualize Expo brings together professionals who want to find inspiration, discover new solutions and connect directly with suppliers and industry peers.

Visualize Expo is also relevant to sectors beyond the traditional print and signage world. On the trade fair floor, you will find applications for retail, interior design and events, among other sectors. This broad applicability makes the event of interest to professionals looking for smart, impactful and innovative ways to bring brands, spaces and messages to life.

Visualize Expo is the result of years of development within the graphic and signage industries. What began as a trade fair for traditional printing techniques gradually evolved into the event for everyone working in visual communication. Discover how we have changed alongside the industry and are ready for the future:

2002: Launch of the Graphic Trade Fair in Hardenberg
The first edition of the Graphic Trade Fair takes place in Hardenberg with 27 exhibitors. The trade fair mainly focuses on traditional printing techniques and targets printers and print companies.

2007: Benelux edition in Gorinchem
The market changes due to digitalisation and the rise of digital printing techniques. Driven by growing demand and the international presence of companies, the trade fair moves to Gorinchem and gains a strong Benelux focus.

2009: Introduction of the Sign Trade Fair
The signage industry grows as demand for visual communication increases. That is why, alongside the Graphic Trade Fair, we introduce the Sign Trade Fair, with a strong focus on signage and visual applications.

2017: Graphic Trade Fair and Sign Trade Fair: a balanced division
With an equal focus on print and signage, the trade fair grows alongside the market, in which the graphic and signage industries increasingly strengthen one another. Demand for customised and niche applications also increases.

2019: Sign & Print Expo
Innovations in digital printing and signage solutions accelerate. The renewed Sign & Print Expo replaces the Graphic Trade Fair and Sign Trade Fair, continuing under one name with a focus on both the print and signage industries.

2025: Visualize Expo: a new direction
Demand for online printing and customisation continues to grow, while digital signage and promotional products are gaining increasing ground. In response to these market changes, the trade fair evolves into Visualize Expo. Alongside print and signage, digital signage and promotional solutions now also take centre stage, under three strong pillars: Printing Technologies, (Digital) Signage and Promotional Solutions.

The name Visualize Expo better reflects the development of the event and the market. While the focus used to be mainly on signage and print, the event is now centred around a broader world of visual communication.

Alongside print and signage, digital signage and promotional solutions are also playing an increasingly important role. With its new name, Visualize Expo better reflects what the event stands for today: an inspiring meeting place for professionals working with printing technologies, signage and promotional solutions.
